It is with great pleasure that we include the Municipality of Langhirano, from the beautiful province of Parma, among our project’s supporters.

Every year, Langhirano, which is famous for the production of Prosciutto di Parma, hosts a special festival to celebrate its local claim to this ham and since 2004 a museum has told the history of this excellent product.

Good food is not the only symbol of this small municipality: built in the 1400s, not for defensive purposes but rather to hide the relationship between Pier Maria II dè Rossi and his lover Bianca Pellegrini di Arluno, Torrechiara Castle is a real masterpiece and one of the best preserved castles in Italy.
